Former ‘Love & Hip Hop’ Star Benzino Pleads Guilty in Drug Case
Former “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” star Benzino plead guilty in his felony drug case in Georgia. Fortunately, this means that he has avoided jail time.
TMZ reports that a member of the Cobb County District Attorney’s states that Raymond Scott pled guilty to all three of the charges that he was facing on Thursday morning. His punishment was pretty light, Zino received a $500 fine and two years of probation.
As we reported, Benzino was arrested in January of 2017 after police came to his apartment in Atlanta with a warrant, they then discovered drugs inside. He was later charged with felony possession of 22 grams of THC oil gummies, felony possession of six MDMA pills, and misdemeanor possession for less than an ounce of weed that was found.
Benzino claimed the warrant was invalid and that he originally planned to fight the ‘racist’ charges in court, however, he is lucky that he copped to a plea because he could have received a total of 15-years in prison if he was found guilty.
