Former School Chief Sues After Being Outed As “School Pooper”
A former New Jersey school superintendent who was found guilty of pooping on the high school’s track field is clapping back and suing sued the police department for releasing his mug shot.
The NY Post reports that Thomas Tramaglini, AKA, the “Pooperintendent of Schools” filed a federal lawsuit claiming that Holmdel police violated his constitutional rights by taking his mugshot and releasing it to numerous media outlets. The suit is asking for unspecified damages.
Tramaglini resigned as superintendent last year after his pooping spell.
“Nearly a year after his ordeal began, today Dr. Tramaglini fights back against the police misconduct that has altered his life forever,” his attorney Matthew Adams said on Wednesday. “He is severely underemployed and is fighting for any semblance of normalcy he can create for himself and his family.”
The suit claims that the story made national news and that the publicity ruined his reputation.
