Frank says the beef’s already been resolved.
While reports surfaced a few days ago of Frank Ocean serving Travis Scott with a cease and desist over their collaborative track “Carousel,” Frank updates us on what really happened.
Additionally, the paperwork demanded that the ‘Astroworld‘ rapper remove Ocean from the track, alleging he was unhappy with how his vocals turned out.
Subsequent to reports, the ‘Blond‘ singer issued a statement on Tumblr to clarify, claiming, “I think the song sounds cool, I did it in like 20 minutes and the mix sounds the way Travis wanted it to sound for his record. I also approved it before it came out so the cease and desist wasn’t about [speaker emoji] it was about [rainbow flag emoji]. Me and Travis resolved it amongst ourselves weeks ago. [sparkling heart emoji]”
In addition to Ocean’s statement, Scott also responded to the allegations, posting a photo of a Frank Ocean t-shirt alongside his own merchandise, captioned, “Someone I call family and always will,” Travis wrote. “Has taught me a ton. And a true inspiration in an out of the Stu.”
