French Montana Changes Views On R. Kelly After Initial Support
Earlier today we reported that French Montana was one of the few artists out there to still have some type of support for R. Kelly, however just a few hours later the “Unforgettable” rapper changed his stance.
As we reported, TMZ stopped French and asked him whether or not people should stop listening to R. Kelly’s music. He responded by saying,
“He fought in a court of law and won. All the greats went down like that. Let somebody enjoy their legacy. Whatever happened, happened, man.” “[People] don’t let nobody have their legendary moments.”
French Montana then took to Twitter on Sunday to announce that he had changed his view on the matter,
“Let me be clear. My heart is with the victims. I never thought the people I looked up to as a kid, who sang and danced and gave me hope to become a superstar would become drug addicts, child molestors and rapists. I am hoping we as a culture create better leaders. We need them.”
