Gabrielle Union Reportedly Told Her Hairstyles Were “Too Black” Before Being Fired From AGT

This past season of “America’s Got Talent seemed to be a fan favorite when it came to the judges, but behind the scenes, there was turmoil spewing.

This past week, it was announced that newcomer judges Gabrielle Union and Julianne Hough were fired from the show, but there was not much detail as to why until now!

According to Variety, behind the scenes was a very toxic place for both Union and Hough as the way they dressed, and their views were always a topic of conversation!

An inside source says that both female judges were given notes on a consistent base regarding their physical appearance on the show. As for Union, it’s being reported that she was told multiple times that her hairstyles were “too black” for the AGT audience.

But that’s not the only problem that occurred on set. Sources told Variety that there was an incident when late-night talk show host Jay Leno appeared on the show as a guest judge.

The source says that while in the production building, Leno saw a picture of judge and executive producer Simon Cowell with his dogs. Leno allegedly proceeded to make a comment saying that the dogs looked like something you’d find

“on the menu at a Korean restaurant,”

This allegedly caught both Union and Hough by surprise and left them highly offended. Variety reports that Union asked production to report the incident to human resources, but sources say that they never took the next spets to do so!

Hough has denied a bad time while on set saying;

“I had a wonderful time on America’s Got Talent, I loved working with the cast, crew, and producers. I am happy to continue my working relationship with NBC,”

As for Union, she has not spoken out, but her husband, former NBA player Dwyane Wade took to his twitter with a few words directed to NBC.
