Group In Houston Demands Popeyes’ Chicken Sandwiches At Gunpoint
There’s been a huge demand in Popeyes’ chicken sandwiches following the big social media debate between Chick-Fil-A. Their popular meal recently became sold out, but many people have been extremely eager to get their hands on one.
A group of people who were so determined to get a tasty chicken sandwich tried to rush into a local restaurant in Houston and demand for them to be made at gunpoint!
The shocking incident happened Monday night. Authorities said two women and three men stormed the front door of the restaurant with at least one weapon. After initially being told at the drive-thru window that the store was sold out of the popular sandwiches, they allegedly attempted to get inside of the restaurant. One of the men pulled out a gun on the Popeyes workers, according to Houston police. Employees say that the “mob,” despite their efforts, were not able to gain access as they locked the doors.
It was also said that a baby was inside their vehicle as they tried to enter the restaurant. As of right now, there is no reported injuries and police are trying to develop descriptions of the suspects.
