Gussi is already a semi-household name despite their recent setbacks, but they are literally ready to take over your whole home!
Back in July of 2017, we announced that Gucci would be expanding on their designs with Home Decor. Well, that day has finally come and the first to see it is Milan.
That’s right, the fashion house opened a temporary store in Milan dedicated to its Gucci Décor interior collection, coinciding with the city’s furniture and design fair Salone del Mobile which is about to begin.
Two floors of a building feature fanciful furniture, ceramics and decorative items that reflect Gucci’s signature style. With various patterns and symbols.
In celebration of Milan Design Week, the Gucci app has added a number of features which allow users to discover historic places in Milan while visiting the temporary store. These locations include Piazza del Duomo, Biblioteca Pinacoteca Accademia Ambrosiana and Piazza Affari (the Bourse).
Though the application, users will be able to see a Gucci Décor product appearing as a virtual oversized sculpture on their screen with information on both the product and the place.
This collection is available online now and at select specialty stores around the world.
