Kodak Black is facing two more sentences after being sentenced to serve 46 months in prison on federal gun-related charges.
According to XXL, the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office slammed Kodak Black with two felony counts of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon on Friday. He was called a repeated offender and will face 30 years in prison for each count. Prosecutors filed one count for a gun that the 22-year-old rapper purchased in January and another count for a firearm in his possession during an arrest in May.
Prior to receiving his sentencing on Wednesday, the rapper took responsibility for his criminal activities.
“I’m sorry for the actions that led me for where I’m standing. I do take full responsibility for my mishap.”
U.S District Court Judge Fredrico Moreno said to the rapper that he was not pleased with his lengthy criminal activities.
“Young people do stupid things, but the problem is that you’ve been doing stupid things since you were 15.”
