Iggy Azalea’s Backup Dancer Suffers A Seizure Mid-Concert
Iggy Azalea went through a terrifying ordeal during her concert in Brazil after one of her backup dancers collapsed in the middle of her concert from a seizure.
The incident occurred on Thursday night at Iggy’s concert at the Maracanã Stadium in Rio de Janeiro.
Fan videos captured the moment that the backup dancer collapsed onstage with her body shaking uncontrollably. Iggy can be seen calling for medical help, then starts singing “Black Widow” before the music stops and the arena is completely silent.
An ambulance drove onstage to take the woman to get help. After she was looked after Iggy had to get back to her performance.
Fortunately, the dancer will be okay as Iggy released a statement in the incident via social media. She revealed that the lights and heat in the arena had caused the seizure. She added that her dancer is feeling better and explained she only resumed singing because she thought the girl had fallen at first.
She finished her statements with,
“I know it’s easy to make memes of someone “passed out” but someone having a seizure isn’t funny, it’s really scary! So I hope my fans do not repost some of the memes i’m seeing about my dancer.”
