There are many techniques teachers come up with to avoid having their students cheat on tests. However, it looks like one school took things a little too far. Yup, you read that right. In a picture taken by a staff members shows students sitting in neat rows with their heads obscured by cardboard boxes. It was said that the front of the boxes had been cut out, which allowed students to see their desks and exam sheets but restricting their vision.

The photos were posted on social media and quickly went viral. After receiving major backlash, the school issued an apology for their extreme move.

S. Suresh Kumar, the state education minister, said in a tweet that the school’s practice was “unacceptable.”

“Nobody has any right to treat anybody more so students like animals,” Kumar wrote. “This (perversion) will be dealt with aptly.”
