Ja Rule Defends Himself Against Fyre Festival Backlash, “I Would NEVER SCAM or FRAUD Anyone”
In light of the recent documentaries that have been released on the disastrous Fyre festival, rapper Ja Rule has faced further backlash for his involvement.
However, Ja Rule is speaking out against it all and claiming the documentary paid people to appear in the feature.
“I had an amazing vision to create a festival like NO OTHER!!! I would NEVER SCAM or FRAUD anyone what sense does that make???” Ja tweeted.
He then added that the founder, Billy McFarland was paid by Hulu to appear in the episode, writing,
“@Hulu PAID BILLY!!! That money should have went to the ppl in the Bahamas… @netflix PAID f–k Jerry who also did all the promo for the festival… the docs clearly have Billy at fault but let’s blame the rapper lmao ok.”
He also clarified that he made no money from the festival and that the truth would soon come out when he can tell his full side of the story,
“I will tell my truth real soon… AND I HAVE RECEIPTS!!!”
