Jake Paul Dropped by His Law Firm in Prank Legal Battle
Jake Paul seems to have got himself in some serious hot water as his lawyers want to cease from representing him in a legal battle over a Youtube prank video!
The Blast reports that on January 3, a Los Angeles judge granted a motion by Paul’s old lawyers which allows them to stop representing the star.
Lawyers from Loeb & Loeb filed court documents requesting to cease representing Paul in the case. They add that it was impossible to deal with Paul and his actions led to an “irreconcilable breakdown” in the relationship.
They write that Paul “refused to cooperate with Loeb in the defense of this action,” adding that he “refused to make payments to the firm for their legal services in connection with the case.”
Apparently, when they notified Paul that they would be dropping him, he did not respond.
Ellis Barbacoff originally filed the suit against Paul for unspecified damages after Paul sounded a train horn at him that caused “sustained shock and injuries” resulting in “pain and suffering” during a prank video.
