Jenkinson’s Boardwalk Issues A Statement After Employee Kicked Out A Group Of Black Kids

An employee who worked at a popular store on the Jenkinson’s Boardwalk in new jersey was fired following an altercation that went viral on social media. 


A woman who worked at a gift shop on the Jenkinson’s Boardwalk has been let go following an incident with a few black girls.

The boardwalk has released a statement following their decision to hold off on letting her go from the job. They said,

This all started when the woman in the video below asked the girls where their chaperone was because they needed someone to be in the store with them.

Once their group leader Attiyya Barrett, she began to film asking the woman why she asked the girls to leave even after they had a chaperone show up.

According to the viral video, we can hear the lady say,

“I didn’t think she was a chaperone,”

Later adding,

 “They’re not welcome in here.”

Barrett who responded to the woman being fired made a statement saying,

“I’m very happy about that. The girls are going to be very excited when I tell them. Meanwhile, there were other white girls unattended and playing with items and they were not asked to leave,” she added.
