Jennifer Lopez is continuing to interrupt the fashion world as she signs on as the newest face of Coach!
2020 is already shaping out to be an amazing year for Jennifer Lopez. Coming off of 2019, she has already killed her role in the movie “Hustlers,” she walked in the Versace runway wearing one of her most iconic pieces, she turned 50, and most of all got engaged to Alex Rodrigez.
But starting in 2020, JLo will become the new face of fashion house Coach as she took to her Instagram to share the news.
“It is a timeless brand that I’ve always been a fan of and the upcoming collection really speaks to my personal style –– an uptown downtown mix.”
In the Spring of 2020, JLo will be appearing in campaigns for items like leather goods, ready-to-wear and the footwear company. For her first campaign, Lopez will be shooting in iconic locations known to Coach followers.
Lopez, who rocks New York to the T was an obvious choice for Coach’s next campaign. Not only did she wear their bags in her 2002 video “All I Have” with LL Cool J, but they are a brand founded in Manhattan 78 years ago.
“Jennifer is so authentic. She’s determined and she’s an original who has followed her own path to do things her own way — she really embodies the attitude of Coach and our new campaign,” Coach creative director Stuart Vevers said in a statement. “She’s from New York like Coach, which creates another authentic connection with our heritage, and I’m particularly excited about bringing Jennifer and Juergen Teller together.”
JLo now follows the footsteps of other Coach ambassadors like Michael B. Jordan and Selena Gomez.
