Jet BlueFlight To Dominican Republic Rerouted After Passengers Become Sick
A JetBlue flight from Newark Airport to the Dominican Republic had to be diverted to JFK after passengers reported that they felt nauseous.
JetBlue rep Claudio Cruz said that the plane, “diverted to New York-JFK out of an abundance of caution after the crew reported a handful of customers and crew members feeling unwell.”
“The aircraft will be inspected before returning to service, and flight 1203 will continue to Santo Domingo on a different aircraft,” JetBlue said in a statement.
NBC4 reports that numerous people on the pane aid that they started to vomit due to a strange smell that was roaming the plane.
This incident comes right after a different a JetBlue flight at Newark had to be delayed because a picture of a man in a suicide vest began to circulate on the cabin crews cell phones via the airdrop feature. All the passenger were immediately evacuated.
