Johnny Depp has finally agreed on a settlement with his two former bodyguards who accused him of exposing them to “unsafe conditions” and “illegal substances”.
The court documents were filed in Los Angeles, California on January 4th, 2018. The former employees filed the paperwork that informed the court they have “reached a conditional settlement which settles and resolved the entire matter as to each Defendant and each Plaintiff.”
While it seems that both parties are happy with the agreement, no further details have been released involving if the actor had to cough up a huge amount of cash or not. As previously reported, two men claimed they both worked with Depp as private security between the years of 2016 and 2017. They joined the security firm the “Fantastic Beasts” star allegedly used since 2007.
They allege Depp started to act erratically which lead to him involving them in dangerous situations while creating a “toxic” working environment. The men said that he also exposed them to “illegal substances”.
Depp did not immediately respond to the suit when it was originally filed. The case was closed and any other hearings were swiped.
