Following the release of “Surviving R. Kelly” well-known journalist, Touré Neblett is being accused of sexual assault.
Touré Neblett, a well-known journalist and one of the many people who appeared in the Lifetime documentary “Surviving R. Kelly” is now getting the tables turned on him.
Touré who has interviewed Kelly multiple times and asked the famous question “do you like teenage girls” is now being accused of sexual assault himself.
In an exclusive interview with Essence, a makeup artist identified as Dani spoke out about her encounter with the journalist.
Her comments came after Touré appeared on a podcast where he was seen speaking on the R. Kelly allegations. The video was later posted on Instagram.
Dani took to the comment section to share her situation stating;
“He couldn’t stop asking me to do anal, how I looked naked if I had sex over the weekend, what it would be like to f–k me.”
Dani states that after she quit, she reported Touré to human resources which resulted in him being fired.
“I worked with him most of 2017, I left in October, before he left,” she claims.
“He went on Hot97 to talk about Harvey Weinstein (after he apologized). I accepted his apology and was ok to move on but, you can’t be a sexual predator and go around shaming other predators,” she said.
Toure´has issued a response through his rep:
“On the show, our team, including myself, engaged in edgy, crass banter, that at the time I did not think was offensive for our tight-knit group. I am sorry for my language and for making her feel uncomfortable in any way. As a lead on the show, I should have refrained from this behavior. I have learned and grown from this experience.”
