Juelz Santana Checks Into Prison For 27-Month Sentence
The time has come for Juelz Santana to check himself into prison for his 27-month sentence.
The Blast reports that official records state that Juelz is now a registered inmate in the Petersburg Medium FCI, which is a medium security federal correctional facility that is located in Hopewell, Virginia.
He is scheduled to be released sometime in 2021, however, the prison records list his release date as “unknown” which means it could be sooner or even delayed.
As we reported, Juelz pushed back his initial prison date from January 30, 2019 to February 28, 2019 so that he could film the ‘Love & Hip Hop: New York’ reunion in Atlanta, Georgia. He also namedropped Tyler Perry in a plea to get this extension.
The rapper’s charges stem from an incident where he was indicted on two federal firearms charges after bringing a .38-caliber gun to Newark Liberty International airport.
Luckily, he was released on $500,000 bail where he had to wear an ankle monitor and reside at his mother’s home. He was allowed to travel for work.
