Sad news for those fans who were looking to attend one of Justin Timberlake’s tour dates as the show has completely been postponed.
Just a few days ago, we reported that Justin Timberlake had to postpone three more of his tour dates, but it looks like there are some major changes.
Justin has been trying to recover from bruised vocal cords which resulted in the shows being changed. But Doctors are saying that his rest may have to be prolonged.
On Wednesday, a spokesperson for JT announced that doctors say he will not be able to perform until 2019.
Justin followed up with an Instagram post where he said;
“Hey guys, I’m sure you have heard that I’ve had to postpone several tour dates due to bruised vocal cords,” he writes. “My vocal cords are healing, but they are not all the way back to normal yet, so my doctors want me to continue to rest my voice. They have asked me to hold off on singing until next month. I’m really sorry, I want to be back on the stage and I’m doing all I can to get there quickly.”
The first show that had to be postponed was at Madison Square Garden in New York where Live Nation let fans know JT wouldn’t be in attendance.
“my vocal cords are severely bruised… I’m gonna make this up to you” he said.
Follow up shows which included dates in Buffalo, Tacoma, Los Angeles, Phoenix, Las Vegas, Fresno, Portland and Wednesday night in Oakland was also said to be made up on later dates.
As of now, it is unclear when exactly Justin will be back in action, but many of the tour venues urge customers to keep their tickets so they will be honored when rescheduled.
