Katt Williams Ordered To Pay $25,000 For Punching Fan
Katt Williams is back in trouble and has now been hit with a $25,000 judgment after ignoring a lawsuit filed by one of his fans, who alleged that Katt punched him in the face.
According to The Blast, court documents show that a Georgia judge granted a default judgment to Tyrell Williams, the man who claimed Katt hit him.
Williams has also filed court papers to start the process of seizing Katt’s belongings in the sum of the judgment.
Tyrell says that he went to one of Katt’s comedy shows and was invited to an after-party. He then proceeded to take a snapshot of Katt.
Katt is alleged to have “suddenly and without warning” approached Tyrell and knocked his iPhone out of his hand and then punched him three times, before abruptly leaving.
Tyrell is suing for unspecified damages and claims that he suffered injuries and encountered mental suffering.
Katt has not yet commented or shown any signs of paying up.
