The list of nominees for the 2019 Grammy Awards were announced on Friday and rapper Kendrick Lamar has come out on top with the most nominations!

Lamar’s “All the Stars” is up for both Record of the Year and Song of the Year, among six others. Drake follows right behind him with seven nominations. Other artist like Boi-1da and Brandie Carlile came in with six, while Cardi B and Childish Gambino both locked in five!

In addition to this, female artists came up super strong this year. In each of the big four general field categories; Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Album of the Year, and Best New Artist, is dominated by women, including six out of eight acts up for best new artist: Chloe x Halle, H.E.R., Margo Price, Bebe Rexha, Jorja Smith and Dua Lipa.

The award show is looking good this year! The 61st Grammy ceremony is set to take place Feb. 10, 2019, at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. Check out some of the nominees below and tell us who you’ll be rooting for in the comment section below!
