A Georgia college basketball star is charged with several murder charges for the death of a 21-year-old man.
According to AJC, Kamiyah Street, a junior and point guard for the women’s basketball team at Kennesaw State University, was arrested on felony murder charges for the death of Nashiem Hubbard-Etienne. Atlanta police say Street allegedly played a role in Hubbard-Etienne’s death. The young man’s body was found in a parking lot of the Heritage Street apartments on July 16.

Fulton County jail records show that Street was charged with two counts of felony murder, criminal attempt to commit armed robbery, two counts of aggravated assault, two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and possession of a firearm. KSU officials said in a statement that Street has been suspended indefinitely after being notified of her arrest Thursday evening.
“The individual has been suspended indefinitely from all women’s basketball team and athletic activities,”
Four other suspects were also arrested for Hubbard-Etienne’s murder.
Street had a promising college basketball career where she averaged 21 points and 5 rebounds per game in the first half of the season.
