Dr. Luke’s attorney claims she’s further defaming his client.
Last month we reported that Kesha‘s sexual assault claims against Dr. Luke reportedly cost him $50 million, hindering him from working with Katy Perry, for which he sued the “Tik Tok” singer for.
Fast forward a few weeks later, Variety reports that in a prior text message to Lady Gaga, Kesha admitted that the super producer not only sexually assaulted her, but also Katy, who’s never publicly accused him on her own.
Additionally, court documents, including Luke’s refutation, state it’s a “false claim that [Luke] had raped [Katy],” continuing, “[Kesha] also falsely asserted that [Luke] had also raped Katy Perry. Following this text message conversation, and with [Kesha’s] encouragement, [Gaga] spread negative messages about [Luke] in the press and on social media.”
Also, the docs reveal that Perry was deposed as part of the suit, but with zero evidence of what she mentioned.
As a result of the claims, Luke’s attorney says:
“[Kesha and Lady Gaga] coordinated to post graphics on their Twitter and Instagram pages. For the purpose of furthering her malicious plan to destroy [Dr. Luke’s] reputation and blacklist [him] from the music industry, [Kesha] also repeated her false statements that she had been drugged and raped by [Dr. Luke] to other artists.”
At the moment representatives for all three women have declined comments.
