It’s been more than a month since Kevin Hart was involved in a car accident sending him to the hospital, and now he is speaking out!
If you recall, on September 1st, comedic actor Kevin Hart was involved in a car accident that sent him to the hospital with major back injuries.
With successful surgery and many positive words on behalf of Hart coming from his wife Eniko Hart, we are finally receiving a statement from the 40-year-old father of three.
His attorney Andrew Brettler released the statement on his behalf where he addressed the other two passengers that were in his car, 28-year-old Jared Black and 31-year-old Rebecca Broxterman.
“I have nothing but love for Jared and wish him and Rebecca a speedy recovery,” he shared.
He continued to share that while there have been stories about Hart returning to work, he has only been able to film “Jumanji” for a few hours this past week.
“Hart has not been in full costume for these shoots and he’s not walking much for them either—sitting through most of the day—even though he can walk on his own. Hart doesn’t anticipate going back to work full time until early next year, assuming everything stays on track with his physical therapy.”
Two weeks ago, Hart was released from the hospital and headed to rehabilitation. His wife gave fans an update on his progress at the time saying;
“He’s doing well, thank you. We’re just taking it one day at a time…He’ll be back on track in no time.”
This all happened at around 1 am while Hart and his Black and Broxterman were traveling down Mulholland drive when Hart’s car hit a ditch sending them through the wooden fencing along the side of the road. The entire roof was ripped off from the impact and both Black and Broxterman were pinned in the backseat.
We with Kevin Hart not nothing but the best and a speedy yet safe recovery!
