‘Kidz Bop Karen’ Speaks Out After Going Viral For Rant

A New York woman has been dubbed “Kidz Bop Karen” after her strange rant on a driver who allegedly cut her off in traffic went viral. In a clip recorded by Chelsea Klein, 29, shows the moment Karen pulls up to her Lyft to let them know that they cut her off. The Lyft driver can be heard apologizing multiple times but apparently that wasn’t enough for Karen.

“She thinks it’s cute that her driver almost hit my kids, and she thinks she needs to take a video of it instead of apologizing,” the unidentified woman says mockingly. The driver attempted to defuse the situation by apologizing once again, but Karen continued to go after Klein. “It is your fault. And you know, that didn’t upset me, but the b—- a– h– that told me to calm down? What I’d like you to do is apologize instead of being a b—-,” the unidentified woman said. Klein then points out that she shouldn’t be cursing with her children in the car, but Karen tells her that they’re fine because they are listening to Kidz Bop.

Of course, social media users had a field day with her hilarious rant video. She even recently spoke to TMZ to share that she has caught a lot of flak for it. However, she admits that the situation could have gone completely left if she was a minority. Karen says she plans to calm down and wants to apologize to the driver for her actions.

Karen also answered the question that everyone wanted to know — her kids were listing to Kidz Bop’s “Old Town Road” at the time of the incident.
