KKK Leader’s Wife Gets Life In Prison After Admitting To Killing Her Husband
The wife of a Missouri Ku Klux Klan leader was sentenced to life in prison after admitting to killing her husband.
Malissa Ann Ancona, 46, of Leadwood, has pleaded guilty to second-degree murder, tampering with evidence and abandonment of a corpse for the murder of 51-year-old Frank Ancona Jr.
Frank was a known member and wizard of the Ku Klux Klan. He was apparently planning on leaving his wife and filing for a divorce.
Ancona reported her husband missing and originally claimed her son, Paul Jinkerson shot her husband. He faces the same charges as his mother, who later confessed that he was only involved in disposing the body and clean-up.
“I fired both shots that killed my husband,” she told Circuit Judge Wendy Wexler Horn. She reveals that she cleaned the walls of their bedroom and disposed of bloody bedding in order to conceal the murder.
