Kodak Black Reportedly Donates Over $12K To Help Low-Income Students

Looks like Kodak Black is taking a break from all the trolling to focus on something way more important: giving back to his community.

The rapper recently came across a teen’s mission to give school supplies to 7,600 students in the Cleburne Independent School District in Texas. Paige Cook,14, had a successful first campaign last year after collecting 40k pencils. But she wants to collect a bunch of notebooks AND 60k pencils for students.

Kodak’s attorney, Bradford Cohen shared with TMZ, that the rapper wasted no time and donated $12,500 — for the notebooks which will benefit a school district where a majority of its students come from low-income communities.

This is the side of Kodak many people love seeing. Back in, Kodak donated $10K to Jack & Jill Children’s Center — a non-profit provider of early childhood education. At the time, Kodak told the news outlets that more good deeds are in the works and it looks like he stuck to his word.
