Kodak Black has finally been sentenced in his federal weapons charges case. On Wednesday a Miami federal judge sentenced Kodak to 46 months in prison. He could have received up to 10 years.

The Miami Herald reports that prosecutors originally asked for 46 to 57 months, while attorneys for the rapper pushed for 37.

As we reported, Kodak has been locked up since May and the judge denied his request to be released on bail, referring to him as a danger to the community. He was initially arrested right before his performance at the Rolling Loud festival when police officers issued warrants out for his arrest after he had been indicted on false statement charges.

His sentencing is officially set for November 18. Kodak has not yet commented on the news.
