Kylie Jenner is gearing up to celebrate her birthday on a $250 million yacht that was once in federal custody.
There is no doubt that the $250 million yacht that Kylie Jenner is celebrating her birthday on is amazing. But at one point in time, it was seised by the feds.
Sources say that the 300-foot ship once belonged to Malaysian fugitive Jho Low. it was seized and handed over to the feds by prosecutors who were investigating him on pilfering of the Malaysian Sovereign wealth fund 1MDB.
The yacht which is roughly the size of a football field sleeps up to 22 guests in 10 rooms, has a master suite, 3 VIP staterooms, 4 double cabins, 2 twin cabins, 2 convertible cabins, and 2 Pullman beds.
The yacht which was taken from Low’s custody was later resold for $126 million to a Malaysian casino operator, Genting Malaysia Berhad, which was rebranded and renamed “Tranquility.”
The ship which comes with a 29 person staff will still be on board to help Kylie celebrate her big day on Saturday as she will be sailing the coast of Italy.
As of now, there is no word on if Kylie or her family are aware of the history of the ship. As for Low, he is still at large and is still being accused of using the stolen funds to buy New York City real estate and art and fund major motion pictures such as “The Wolf of Wall Street” and “Daddy’s Home.”
