Lady Gaga’s Song With R. Kelly Removed From Apple Music
Lady Gaga came through with her promise faster than we thought!
Earlier today we reported that Gaga took to Twitter to let her fans know that she plans to remove a song she recorded with R. Kelly from iTunes and other major streaming services.
Well just a few hours later, “Do What You (Want With My Body),” which is her song with the disgraced singer, was pulled from Apple Music.
The Blast reports that as of early Thursday morning, the songs were still available on Spotify, Pandora and Apple Music. However, it later disappeared from the “ArtPop” album on Apple Music.
The song with R. Kelly was song #7 on the album and now it has been completely removed from the tracklist.
Earlier in the week, Gaga explained why she collaborated with the singer in the first place, adding that she made the song and video “at a dark time in my life.”
“I can’t go back, but I can go forward and continue to support women, men, and people of all sexual identities, and of all races, who are victims of sexual assault.”
