Landlords Sued By White Tenant Who Was Evicted After Having Black Guests Over
A white woman from North Georgia is suing her landlords because they evicted her for having African-American guests over for a play date with her kids.
WSBTV reports that Victoria Sutton lived in a residence that was owned by Patricia and Allen McCoy. According to the suit, Sutton invited her black co-worker who has a 5-year-old son to come over so that their kids could hang out. Apparently, after becoming aware of the play-dates, Allen McCoy banged on her door and shouted racial abuse towards black people.
He called her an “n***** lover,” and allegedly said that he would call Child Protective Services because she has an “n***** on their property.”
He notified her that she had two more weeks until she would be kicked out of the home for having blacks over.
When she called and recorded her conversation with the McCoy’s, they said, “I don’t put up with n*****s in my [house], and I don’t want them on my property.”
However, Allen McCoy denies the claims and says, “Some of the best friends I got is colored.”
The suit is ongoing.
