LaVar Balls mouth may have actually got him in some major trouble as he looks to be banned from ESPN.
From the beginning of time when the Ball family stepped into the spotlight, one thing for sure that everyone knew was LaVar ball was the mouth of the family!
While is comments were very blunt and sometimes unnecessary, it seems that his latest comment has landed him in some pretty boiling water.
LaVar who has been frequent on ESPN’s First Take on Monday was on an episode talking all things basketball including the recent trade for his son Lonzo who is headed to the Pelicans.
Things were going well until the show’s moderator Molly Qerim tried to move to another topic and said she wanted to “switch gears.” While that’s a pretty common phrase to say when wanting to move on, LaVar took the words in another direction commenting back that she would “switch gears with him anytime.
The comment left Qerim and her colleague’s uncomfortable so much so that journalist Richard Deitsch tweeted that he spoke with a spokesperson at ESPN and they discussed that they had no plans of inviting LaVar back.
So as of now, there is no set in stone rule that LaVar is no longer welcomed, but we’re sure that ESPN will be making a comment very soon.

There will be no LaVar Ball on any ESPN platform heading forward — at least as of now. Asked if Ball will be used as an on-air guest, an on-the-record source for digital, or a background source for ESPN, an ESPN spokesperson said,”We have no plans moving forward.”
