Apparently, the rapper feels like he has been overcharged and is now taking his former attorney Ronald Sweeney to court. In the docs, obtained by TMZ, Wayne says Sweeney charged him 10 percent for every deal he helped close. The big issue is that Wayne claims Sweeney failed to let him know the industry standard is just half that. The extra charge cost Wayne more than what he was expecting and says Sweeney made up to $20 million during his tenure.

In addition to that, court documents claim that Sweeney got a little money hungry throughout his dealings with Wayne. Sweeney reportedly proposed to receive an additional 10% of all profits from Young Money but Wayne said that he shut that down quickly.

On top of all that, Wayne also states Sweeney’s firm got 23 percent of the Cash Money settlement and 15 percent of the Universal Music Group settlement. Weezy claimed that those numbers were on top of the Sweeney’s 10 percent!
