Lori Loughlin is taking a page out of Felicity Huffman’s book and may not go to trial for her role in the college admissions scandal.

According to TMZ, prosecutors were not happy that Huffman walked away with a light sentence and they believe that Loughlin could serve a similar punishment if she’s convicted, so they became open to potential plea deals for the actress.

As we reported, Felicity is currently halfway through serving her two week sentence, which was reduced to 13 days. She paid $12,000 to fix her daughter’s SAT scores.

Lori and her husband, Mossimo Giannulli, paid more than $500,000 to a college fixer to get their two daughters’ into the University of Southern California.

They both face up to 40 years in prison on charges of conspiracy to commit mail and wire fraud and conspiracy to commit money laundering. However, based on Huffman’s sentence, prosecutors fear she may only do weeks behind bars.
