‘Full House’ star Lori Loughlin could face more time in jail than Felicity Huffman if she is convicted for her role in the college admissions scandal.

According to WCVB, US Attorney Andrew Lelling recommended a harsher sentence for Loughlin compared to Huffman’s two-week jail term.

“If she is convicted, I don’t think we’re giving away any state secrets by saying we’d probably ask for a higher sentence for her than we did for Felicity Huffman,” Lelling said.

As we reported, Loughlin, 55, and her husband, Mossimo Giannulli, 56, allegedly paid $500,000 to a college fixer to get their two daughters into USC.

They pleaded not guilty to charges of conspiracy to commit mail and wire fraud and conspiracy to commit money laundering. They could receive 40 years in jail.

However, Lelling adds that if Loughlin makes a deal before trial she could get a lighter sentence.

“Let’s say she goes through to trial, if it is after trial, we would ask for something substantially higher,” Lelling added. “If she resolved it before trial, something lower than that.”

As we reported, Felicity Huffman took a plea deal and was given two weeks in jail, 250 hours of community service and a $20,000 fine.

“She took responsibility almost immediately,” Lelling added. “She was contrite, did not try to minimize her conduct, and she handled it in a very classy way.”
