Loughlin, 54, and Giannulli, 55, decided to waive their rights to appear in court for an arraignment and instead plead not guilty, according to court documents obtained by Fox News on Monday. Several other indicted parents have also entered not-guilty pleas.

The couple has been accused of paying $500,000 in bribes so that their non-athlete daughters could be designated as rowing recruits to help their admission to the University of Southern California.

Lori says that she feels that any other mother would have done the same to get their child into a good school and just can’t seem to wrap her mind around the illegal side of it all.

As of right now, it’s unclear whether a judge will accept her request or require her to show up in person to enter her plea. We will continue to keep you updated on this news.
