Loughlin Reportedly Declined Plea Deal After Assuming D.A. Was ‘Bluffing’
While 13 parents, including fellow actress Felicity Huffman, cut a deal and plead guilty in this wildly controversial college admissions scandal, sources say Lori Loughlin reportedly rejected said deal, as she believed the D.A. was “bluffing.”
Since she did not accept, the 15 new charges placed against those involved will avoid all but her. Sources tell E News, “[Lori] has been in complete denial and thought maybe she could skate by. She refused to accept any jail time and thought the DA was bluffing. She was adamant she wouldn’t do any jail time.”
In addition, the source claims she is kicking herself for passing on the deal, stating, “Lori is finally realizing just how serious this is. She is seeing the light that she will do jail time and is freaking out.”
