Nick Sandmann files another lawsuit.
Nicholas “Nick” Sandmann, the unapologetic MAGA hat-wearing teen who mocked Native American Nathan Phillips during a peaceful demonstration, is now filing a $275 million defamation lawsuit against CNN, weeks after filing a $250M suit against The Washington Post.
Additionally, the 16-year-old and his team of lawyers declared a suit against the latter for allegedly “targeting and bullying” him following the viral face off he had at the Lincoln Memorial steps in January.
Towards CNN, Sandmann’s lawyer states, “Contrary to its ‘Facts First’ public relations ploy, CNN ignored the facts and put its anti-Trump agenda first in waging a 7-day media campaign of false, vicious attacks against Nicholas, a young boy who was guilty of little more than wearing a souvenir Make America Great Again cap while on a high school field trip to the National Mall in Washington, D.C.”
In the same vein of protecting Sandmann’s choice to wear the MAGA hat, the constitutional amendment also forbids the government to hinder freedom of the press.
