A San Diego man was arrested after posting videos online of him rehearsing a mass shooting plot.

Steve Homoki, 30, was arrested and charged with possession of an assault weapon, possession of a high-capacity magazine and child endangerment.

Police arrested Homoki in San Diego on Thursday, after getting “a tip concerning very distressing YouTube videos threatening firearm violence linked to San Diego.”

In the disturbing videos you could see a man pointing a gun at several pedestrians from a hotel room in San Diego and fake firing at them.

“An Investigation was initiated by the JTTF that day and over the course of the next 48 hours, Steven Homoki was identified as the person responsible for the videos,” the department. “A search warrant was obtained for his residence in Spring Valley, California.”

According to KNSD-TV, the videos were recorded in March 2019, when Homoki checked into the Sofia Hotel under a fake name of Stephen Anderson.
