A Florida man was arrested Sunday after he refused to remove a bumper sticker from his vehicle that read “I eat a—.”
According to The New York Post, Dillon Shane Webb,23, was driving a brown Chevrolet truck when an officer noticed the bumper sticker on the rear window. The officer told Webb to pull over and informed him that the bumper sticker violated the state’s obscenity law. Webb said in response to the officer that the bumper sticker was “just words.” The officer tried to explain to Webb that the sticker could be offensive to parents of small children and a child would ask what the words meant.
Webb explained that it would be up to the parent to explain the phrase to their child and he said the sticker is his right to freedom of speech.
