A Florida man was arrested after he allegedly stabbed his girlfriend to death while Facetiming her father earlier this month.
According to WESH, Kiara Alleyne,20, was fatally stabbed by her boyfriend, 30-year-old DeAngelo Clark. As Alleyne laid in a pool of her own blood, Clark contacted her father, Sheldon, via FaceTime and asked him for advice. Sheldon told Clark to call for help but he refused because he feared that authorities would remove Alleyne’s 1-year-old daughter from the home. After authorities arrived at the home, the toddler was missing and Alleyne succumbed to her injuries. An Amber Alert was issued for the girl but authorities reported she was safely found with family members.
After the stabbing, Clark broke into a home in the Florida Keys and started a fire in it. He also started a fire in his car and burned himself. He is currently staying at a local hospital in Marion County and faces a murder charge.
Clark also posted a status on his Facebook page apologizing to Alleyne’s family and said she “tried to kill him.”
‘Now I must end my life just know she tried to kill me she walked into I’m srry [sic] to her family.’
The couple has had previous issues with domestic disturbances earlier this summer but no arrests have were made at the time.
