Man Kills Girlfriend After She Bails Him Out Of Jail
A man has been arrested for killing his girlfriend after she bailed him out of jail.
Eric Griffin, 40, was released on $250 cash bail that his girlfriend Jennifer Kalicki had paid to free him from prison on Sept. 11.
The 39-year-old woman was later found dead on Sunday morning at the couple’s apartment. According to The Lowell Sun, Jennifer was found covered in cuts and bruises and her shirt was also ripped open.
Sadly, just a day before Jennifer had sent messages to Griffin’s sister begging for help and saying that he had “lost it.”
“He’s ripped the door open. Choked me, slammed me to the ground,” one text message said.
Despite the calls for help Griffin’s sister didn’t call 911, however, on Sunday Griffin called after he found Kalicki cold and unresponsive.
He claimed they had argued, but denied causing her any harm.
Her cause of death is pending the results of an autopsy.
A Lowell District Court Judge has revoked Griffin’s bail and he is due back in court on Friday.
