An Oklahoma man was arrested after he allegedly shot and killed his daughter’s boyfriend and his cousin on Tuesday in Owasso.
According to News On 6, Manuel Quezada,47, and Angelica Quezada, 45, were arrested earlier this week for the murders of Albert Thomas,20, and DeJon Ross,21. Thomas was dating Quezada’s daughter, Samantha, for two years but this was the first time he met Manuel. The couple and Ross were planning to go to the movies before the shooting. Thomas’ aunt, Aleta Thomas, said her nephew was aware that Quezada did not want his daughter to be around black people.
“Albert had never even met the man. [Manuel] would always tell her that he didn’t want her being around black people. He never met the dad until last night, and this man killed him in cold blood.”
The young men were rushed to the hospital for treatment but later died from their injuries.
Manuel is currently booked on a homicide charge and has no bond at the Rogers County Jail. His wife is also jailed on a charge of being an accessory to murder. Her bond is set at $500,000.
