An Arizona man was arrested months after he shot down a motorist for looking at him during a red light.
According to the New York Post, Nicholas Elliot.26, was arrested Thursday in connection with the March 1 shooting that killed 26-year-old Alex Mixon in Phoenix. After the shooting, authorities believed Mixon was killed in an apparent road rage incident after his car hit a utility pole and slammed into a wall near Thunderbird Road and 30th Street.
It was revealed by court documents that a witness overheard Elliot talking about shooting a man in the face because he gave him a nasty look at the intersection. He also bragged about the shooting. Elliot apparently told police that he had an argument with a man but did not remember firing his gun.
However, he also told police that “if he could go back in time, he would take the incident back.” During his arrest, investigators found various drugs and firearms and Elliot said they were his.
He is currently being held on a $1 million bond and his court appearance was scheduled for Thursday.
