You might want to think twice before you throw away the spare taco sauce you get from your fast food!

The annoying leftovers you normally see in your car managed to save one man’s life.

An Oregon man and his dog were rescued after being trapped inside his car for five days with only taco sauce packets for food.

Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office reports on Facebook that Jeremy Taylor, 36, of Sunriver, Oregon was missing. He and his dog, Ally, were later discovered by a snowmobiler at around 2:16 p.m. on Friday.

Taylor revealed that he had been driving his SUV up a forest service road last Sunday when his car got stuck in the snow.  He periodically turned his engine on for warmth and ate Taco Bell sauce when he was hungry.

Taylor took to his Facebook to say, “Thank you everyone, I’m safe my Ally dog is safe.

“I really appreciate all the help. Got lucky, lets (sic) never do that again. I’ll be in touch with everyone soon.”
