Balenciaga is known to take their looks to the extreme, but their latest look has fast food chain McDonald’s calling them out!
Fashion house Balenciaga is known for taking inspiration from everyday items to create their catalogs of creative new looks.
A while back, they took the well known blue Ikea bag and created a purse that ran for well more than the $1 the original sells for. Well, they are at it again, this time taking inspiration from McDonald’s french fry pockets.
Back in August, Balenciaga released a square-toe leather mule that looked like a box of french fries for $740, all that was missing was the “M.”
Leave it to the various fast food social media pages to make fun of the look as a McDonald’s in Sweden took to their Instagram to share a hilarious comparison.
They posted a picture os someone wearing the actual french fry box with a black sole with a caption that translated to;
“If we get 103042 likes we release these for real.”
However, their post only has about 14,000 likes so the possibility of that happening is slim to none.
