McDonald’s has fired it’s Chief Executive Steve Easterbrook for allegedly having a consensual relationship with an employee.

The company’s board announced that Easterbrook “violated company policy and demonstrated poor judgment involving a recent consensual relationship with an employee.”

Easterbrook’s lawyer, Desiree Moore spoke to FOX news and said that Easterbrook “is deeply grateful for his time at McDonald’s and continues to believe in the company’s future.”
