Meek Mill claims that after becoming successful, you don’t owe anybody anything. Do you agree?
While appearing on Los Angeles Laker LeBron James‘ HBO series The Shop alongside 2 Chainz, Anthony Davis, and more, Meek Mill discussed the subject of owing family and friends once obtaining success.
Additionally, the Philly rapper firmly stated, “Can I tell y’all my take on this sh*t. I be like, ‘Yo, I don’t owe nobody sh*t!’ Who you gon’ please? I tell people, ‘if you give your cousin $10,000 […] or, what you gon’ give your aunt? You gon’ give your aunt twenty ’cause she babysitted [sic] you? What you gon’ get your grandma?’ You know what I mean? It’s never gon’ to stop.”
In addition, 2 Chainz mentioned that he felt like he was responsible for his family, while another member brought up the fact that family will try to cash-in on those early promises you made before success. #Socialites, where do you stand?
