Meghan Markle Confirms That Her Father Won’t Be In Attendance For Her Royal Wedding
Meghan Markle is just 2 days away for the biggest day of her life; her royal wedding. While it’s supposed to be the most happiest and special time for her, it’s kind of been a bit rough and sad because of all the drama with her ill father Thomas Markle.
Earlier this Thursday morning, the soon-to-be bride confirmed that her father will not be able to attend her and Prince Harry’s wedding.
“Sadly, my father will not be attending our wedding. I have always cared for my father and hope he can be given the space he needs to focus on his health,” she said. “I would like to thank everyone who has offered generous messages of support. Please know how much Harry and I look forward to sharing our special day with you on Saturday.”

On Wednesday, Thomas told TMZ that he successfully completed heart surgery and his doctors implanted multiple stents in his blood vessels. He remains hospitalized, according to TMZ.
Thomas originally stated earlier in the week that he did not want to attend his daughter’s wedding after he got caught staging fake wedding prep pictures with the paparazzi. However, the day after, he had a change of heart and decided that he wanted to attend and walk her down the aisle.
On Monday, Thomas shared that he had been experiencing chest pains which is why he’s in the hospital now. He told the gossip site that he was willing to risk his life to be there for his daughter. However, doctors wouldn’t let him make that decision.
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s big wedding day is set for Saturday May 19 at the St George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle, Windsor, United Kingdom.
