Memphis Woman Stabbed In The Head And Killed During Fight

An 18-year-old woman was stabbed and killed during a fight on Thursday evening in Memphis, Tennessee.

FOX13 reports Britney Algood was fighting with another woman on the 6200 block of Knight Arnold around 5:30 p.m. A witness said Algood was stabbed during the fight and bystanders were recording the altercation as Algood suffered from her injuries.

“One girl had her camera out and was hitting the girl at the same time her friend was dying,”

Police reported that Algood was transported to St.Francis Hospital where she later succumbed to her injuries.

Allegedly, the fight started due to Algood pointing a gun at the woman’s baby and Memphis natives are saying the fight occurred due to self-defense. But Memphis police have yet to confirm if the stabbing was justifiable.
